Gran Pacifica
The Gran Pacifica Beach & Golf Resort is a luxury vacation and lifestyle resort, hugging Nicaragua’s Pacific Coastline. Devised at ECI Development as a vacation resort and a lifestyle investment opportunity, Gran Pacifica offers community living at the highest standards, alongside additional luxuries and services.
Gran Pacifica at a Glance
The resort is built on 3.5 miles of pristine oceanfront, just west of Managua in Nicaragua. The resort is divided into unique neighborhoods, each offering something different to residents or vacationers. Neighborhoods vary from single family homes in San Diego Viejo to efficiency homes in Casita Village. There are also the luxury oceanfront homesites available for purchase as well as the Milagro Verde neighborhood with solar-powered homes.
Gran Pacifica also offers three condominium developments, including Playa Pacifica and Las Perlas, condo-style hotels on the property, and Las Perlas Oceanfront Village.
Gran Pacifica Amenities
World class resort style living includes access to world class facilities. Gran Pacifica offers access to a 9-hole golf course and club house, private beaches, surfing, swimming pools and horseback riding from the private stables in the complex. Community amenities also allow for an inclusive lifestyle with restaurants, spa and housekeeping facilities.
Infrastructure is essential to the success of resorts in developing countries. Gran Pacifica is built according to a master design that started with the basics of getting a U.S standards-compliant infrastructure right before starting with anything else. Must-have’s like drinkable water, underground electric fiber and reliable power and water had to be carefully planned. An example of this careful planning was that in 2006, Gran Pacifica introduced Gran Pacifica Telecom, the first fiber-to-home project in Latin America. Working closely with US and Australian service providers, Gran Pacifica was able to ensure high-speed communications for its residents.
Gran Pacifica – A Model of Social Responsibility
Gran Pacifica believes in investing in the community. Many of ECI’s executive team have lived in the area for years, and are active volunteers in Nicaraguan humanitarian projects and nonprofits. Creating local, sustainable employment is part of the Gran Pacifica ethos. Long term strategy and planning mean that sustainable projects within the community are realized.
Leadership Team
Joel Nagel and Michael Cobb, co-founders and CEO, lead the corporate team at Gran Pacifica. After a successful career in IT, Cobb started exploring opportunities in real estate in Latin and Central America. Recognizing the immense market that was opened up by retiring Baby Boomers, Cobb understood that retirement investment in real estate meant more than just buying a small apartment in a retirement home. Active seniors were looking for something more luxurious than just sound investment. The rest of the team at Gran Pacifica is led by ECI President Eddie Littlefield and COO Patrick Hiebert.
